Summer Garden Party 2019

We’re doing it again!

We had such a wonderful time last year (even with a little rain) and welcoming you all to our home for a fun day out that we’ve decided to make it an annual event.

Of course the second time around is always harder so we’re working away already to make it bigger & better than last year with more of everything you enjoyed.

Just as last year we will have live music, food stalls, craft stalls, drinks & games but a few changes and improvements.

To name a few to wet your appetite…

  • We will be serving tea/coffee & cake on the terrace
  • A hog roast will be available from 12pm
  • There will be a “Bubbles Bar” where you can grab a cold glass of sparkling & add a few extras if desired
  • Games area with large versions of some well known favourites
  • Introducing new music artists to the area playing a mixture of their own music and their version of classics

We can’t share everything we have planned yet or we will ruin all the fun but stay tuned for updates as we have them and we can’t wait to welcome you to Chateau du Bailleul again.

Escape to the Chateau DIY

We’re so excited!

Chateau Du Bailleul is featuring on the brand new TV show “Escape to the Chateau DIY” starting on UK Channel 4 at 4pm, this coming Monday 9th April.

We are sworn to secrecy so sadly can’t give away any stories, however we had an absolute blast filming for this series and hope this small look into our lives, along with what we do at Chateau Du Bailleul is as entertaining as we genuinely find every day being here.

There’s good times, bad times, laughter and stress, just as there is everyday when you’re trying to get one of these neglected old places to earn it’s keep. No sponsorship, no hidden work crew when the cameras stopped rolling, just two people with an average skillset doing their best and hopefully you will think the same as we do; we did ok!
